Sturla Gunnarsson’s feature-length documentary Monsoon has been named the People’s Choice Award winner at TIFF’s annual Canadian Top Ten Film Festival. Monsoon opens Feb. 27 at TIFF Bell Lightbox.

Monsoon’s Festival Season Begins
Gunnarsson’s Monsoon makes its way across Canada. Showings include: the Atlantic Film Festival September 17th, Calgary Film Festival September 20th and VIFF October 3rd. Then it’s off to Iceland for the Reykjavik International Film Festival October 28th.
“Monsoon” Premieres at TIFF
Sturla Gunnarsson’s Monsoon premieres at the Toronto International Film Festival. A stunningly shot meditation on the phenomenon that some call “the soul of India”. This was Nick’s ninth film shown at TIFF.
The Norman Jewison Series Talks
The Norman Jewison Series and the Department of Film, York University launch Doc Talks with a screening of Allan King’s searing documentary Dying at Grace and a conversation with the film’s acclaimed editor, Nick Hector.
